Rent an Apache
 

I want to rent (with the owner of course) an Apache 41 race boat (not pleasure) for a day(few hours) to take my son on. I raced against the 41's in 89 & 90 and fell in love with them. There is no better rough water boat than an Apache. We have a center console now and he wants to go faster. I want to give him a present for the day of what real speed and flying from wave to wave is all about!

Any takers?

The purpose would be that my kid likes it so much, I can talk my wife into a second boat again!

HJ ... My advise is try to hook up with someone for a poker run ... spend the day on a couple different boats (maybe with the wife too ?) the thrill and rush of the boats running along together ... AT SPEED ... is what this is all about !!! Much more than just goin for any old boat ride ... and , the owner's gonna be goin out that day anyway .... just a thought ?

Great advice and I would normally agree with you. My son watches all the videos of us racing against the 41's ( and getting beat) and he likes them. I don't need to see other boats, I just want the Apache race boat or 6 man configured boat for a day of hard running in the ocean.

It's more of a nostalgia thing.

I was one of the owners at Super Hero, we ran the Buzzi boats in particular #38 the old Ebel in both APBA & OPT.

No, we were Super Hero first and had to change the name after we starting advertising heavy in the US. The lawyers did a bad job and "Super Hero" was a tm of Marvel comics. The cease and desist letters came fast and furious along with threats of legal action.

His name doesn't ring a bell, we had a sales manager who set up dealers or should I say tried too? I ran the race team and diesel engine R&D and diesel production. My teams' focus was new race engines, boat prep and production engines for Europe, Asia and Military aps.

i think i remember a red one with a crankable wing.then bobby moore worked on a turbo motered one with real coolpalm trees on it.

What your saying doesn't make sense? None of our boats had adjustable wings, we could remove them but that was it. We had an orange/red boat which was the Gancia or Cesa in the earlier years, that boat won the Worlds in '89 in UIM 1 at Trump Castle. Our black boat as Ebel won UIM 2 at Trump's that year and entered as Pro Stock later in '89 at Key West to also win.

Everything we ran was turbo diesel power, after our problems the boats could have wound up anywhere and who knows what people did to them at that point?

Yes, the wings came off and there were mounts on the fore deck to secure it while in transit

Can't open your pic but the name of the boat is correct. It should be the 46' with 4 engines, she has had many names in her life
