Today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Brakerite SD Adapter for Ford and Chevy integrated brake controllers. This adapter is going to allow you to use Titan's Brakerite II SD Actuating system with your factory Ford or Chevy brake controller. Factory-installed in-cab brake controllers are designed for use with electric trailer brakes. This adapter allows the electric overhydraulic Brakerite SD actuating system to properly communicate with the brake controller while also regulating the amperage to an appropriate level. Some of the features of the unit, it's going to have these plugs right here, this is just a T-connector that easily plugs into the Brakerite II SD Actuator for a no-hassle installation. They have the locking tabs on them for a nice secure connection point. It's also designed so it won't interfere with use of other brake controllers, custom fit, so the unit's going to plug in, it's going to match up perfectly with the ports, and then again, it's got the locking tab for a nice tight connection point, nice tight fit. The adapter itself, this piece right here, has an aluminum housing, so it's silver in color.
Overall length measurement, it's going to be about 4 1/8, and then it has a square design, so it's going to measure an inch and a quarter wide by an inch and a quarter tall. The wires from the housing 00:01:25 to the actual plug, those wires are going to measure about seven inches long. The unit can be mounted, it's going to feature one mount hole right here, that's going to have a diameter of 3/16 of an inch, hardware is not included.
