James, Sure it is the tank? Not a fitting or hose? If truly the tank and it's gotta be replaced, see the attached pics. I believe taking it out thru cockpit liner would be easier then opening up the engine compartment bulkhead and stringer. Glasdave has worked on my boat (several times) and is familar with the fuel tank placement. I will ask Dave about the correct method of tank removal/replacement.

Thank you. I looked at the rear of the tank and removed the foam so i could see from the top to the botton of the tank so I could see the whole backside. Unfortunatly, the gas is coming from beneath the tank and is flowing both forward and sternward into both bildge areas. I had to drain the tank dry and replumb the port engine to feed off the starboard tank so my capacity is cut in half. I will try to borescope the tank and determine if a repair is possible through the sender unit hole. Probally gonna have to remove the tank and have it welded and appreciate any advise on removal of the port tank- Thanks = James

UPDATE- got the leak fixed without removing the tank- turned out that mechanic removed some of the aft bulkhead right behind tank in engine compartment and found the problem which was fixed using gas tank repair kit from NAPPA auto parts- Filled tank and so far so good- hope this is it- going to lakr to find out today- will advise- by the way, tank only has seams at front and fear- we used a camera on a snake to examine the inside to find the leak and saw one piece construction- it is a nice tank-James
