As you can see mine is way to cluttered. What are you using for switches? Breakers? I like the extra gauges mounted on the old switch panel.

Randy, I am using some circuit breakers, but mostly automotive fuses. Most switches will be a toggle style LED handle lighted switch. The circuit protection will be via a Delphi automotive electrical center. Simple automotive fusing for all circuits. My boat will have two such electrical centers. One servicing the cockpit, dash and cabin area's. The other servicing the engine compartment and motor's. Will still be using marine battery switches and main circuit breakers.
Look on page 329 of this Delphi catalog link. http://delphi.com/pdf/contact/brochu...balCatalog.pdf |

paint
Good day Rotax454, forgot my last user name but we are now back on.
I have been following your work & looks top notch. Bet you went over budget, but what a great job! Remember me:kiss:, I run the 31 Awesome with 3-225 promaxs. You are on my e-mail location. Enough small talk, did you redo the complete paint job on your boat? I redid mine with Gelcoat and the boat sits in the water 2-3 weeks. New paint was done 2 years ago but is starting to bubble, below the water line (sides). Bottom was not painted & is in great shape, THANK GOD! I was also told you could never repaint & leave it in the water, even if you apply gel again, If ever possible, never repaint a boat if it sits in the water more then a couple of days.(below water line Please post some new pics so we can follow you. I love your transom switches, Im going to do the same. Transom PU, I did the same & got much better water pressure. Have a great New Years:drink: [email protected] |
Jeff, Yes I remember your Awesome. Do you ever talk to Gary (feline frenzy)? He also has a 31 and is going with outboards. Thanks for the compliments. Yes to the over budget.
For the gelcoat vs. paint, I leave that to the professionals. Mitch Tolan has done the paint work, errrrr several times. Certainly not his problem. Only my changing idea of what the FINAL paint scheme should be. Contact Mitch at: [email protected] I never leave the boat in the water overnight. Always have trailered for daily use only. The transom switch plate came from Eddie Marine. Switches from RS Electronics. |
