26'FX Setup Questions...
 

I recently sold my 29' Fountain and I'm seeing a lot of people talk about set up, and I bought it with no motor. The boat has a IMCO drive and shorty lower, twin hydraulic steering...I have a 485hp 502 MAG MPI that I plan on having the cam changed and have the heads done, I'm guessing 500-520HP after the machine shops done. Once the motor is back together I have a Vortech intercooled supercharger kit I was going to put on the motor. I'm guessing 600-650HP with 5psi.

Oddly the boat has trim tabs on the transom behind either side of the hull... I'm wondering if thats enough power? and I have no idea where to start with props?? I thought about Hydromotives bc they are known to create lift in the back of the boat to try and slow the porpoising..
