94/95 32 caliber

Any owners on this vintage boat? I bought one and need some help. A few things need repaired and I need to see if other items are setup correctly. Factory has been very little help through customer service.
1. hatch lift motor bracket:
looks like it was attached to transom, but when I sent picture to Baja they thought it was attached to a stringer.
2. Corsa silent choice:
Is there just one switch for both engines
3. anybody ever replaced the most forward piece of plywood under the cushions in the cuddy.

Thats it for starters.
Thanks in advance for any help

I have noticed that some of the early 90's bajas have the motor bracket bolted to the transom. I my Bandit is this way, seen a 93 Outlaw 24 the same way too.

I own a 95 32' caliber, I will take a pic of the engine hatch lift bracket that is on mine.
There is only one switch for the silent choice exhaust on mine.

Thanks Baja292003
Will help alot to see another engine compartment and lift motor setup. It looks like there could have been 2 places it could have been attached to the transom, not the stringers like the factory suggested.

My first venture into a twin so I have to ask, how do you like your Baja?

This one is kind a fixer upper with just a lot of little things to take care of.

Thanks

Re: 94/95 32 caliber

I have a 320, which I'm not sure if it is the same but mine also mounts to the transom, actually in two spots right between the motors. If your boat is like mine there is no way to mount it to the stringers, it is too tight with the twins stuffed in there.

1997 32 outlaw. Hatch actuator is mounted on the center stringer.

Re: 94/95 32 caliber

I am very familiar with my 1994 32'. When they used a 4 stringer system (engine mount directly on the stringer) they had to use a bracket.

They switched to 3 stringers to accomodate offshore mounts and the hatch lift mounts directly to the center stringer. I did this mod on my boat.

Correct...one switch for both engines. Choice is normally closed (silent). The system stays open only as long as the solenoids are charged.

Do you need a bracket? I have one since I went to the center style. Just sitting. $20
