What is my 33 Outlaw worth?
 

I'm considering getting a different boat and was wondering what the consensus would be on my current boat's value.

It is a 2003 33 Outlaw w/ 496 HO's. The motors and boat have approx. 110-115 hrs. The boat does not have shore power, a generator or AC but is mostly loaded other than that. I have a full Sunbrella cover but no cockpit cover. (I like the no snap look) There is approx $2500 worth of stereo upgrades done, drive showers and Houston Prop. labbed 26" Bravo I’s. I purchased the boat new in the spring of 2003. Included is a triple axle Heritage trailer with matching paint and graphics. For a 2 ½ summer boat I would easily rate it on a 9 out of 10 scale. NADA shows low retail at $100,075 and high at $119,265 with the trailer booking at low $5,550 and high of $6,610.

Low book total $105,595
High book total $125,875

There are 2 similar on Trader online listing for $118,000 and $121,000.

We had an 02 same motors, but fully loaded A/c, shorepower/frig/pumpout head/4 bolsters/full cover & cockpit cover/triple axle trailer/drive showers/lab'd props. Had about the same hours on it and seems like we got around $120-125K back 2004. Unfortunately, if you have a kickin' sterreo it is highly recommended that you replace it with something that isn't as expensive, maybe Clarion. You end up not getting your money out of it and wish later that you still had the system.... The boat was in mint condition no scratches. Had just been sent to the fiberglass shop and all the minor dings from the summer had been corrected. Very meticulous owner..... Hopefully, this helps you out. Also depends on the area in which you live.

The stereo value is all in speakers and amps that would not be worth pulling out and trying to use/sell elsewhere. This boat does have a refrig. Good information. Thanks for the reply.

You're boats value is what the current market is. Check all over the internet and with a few dealers, then price yours accordingly. If you want out at this time of year you need to be on the low side of things.

I just bought a 2001 36 outlaw, no trailer, 496 ho's in excellent condition for 90 even. The 33's seem to be bringing as much as the 36's maybe because they are more trailerable. I agre that you should just see what similiar boats are bringing, not neccesarily asking, and price accordingly. Good luck! I'm still sitting on a 29 outlaw. :(

Highmark? Why are you selling? I have the same boat w/ a level 2 custom paint. I'm seriously considering selling/trading for a big center console.

I want to buy a cruiser. :eek: With my two young boys it simply fits how we boat more. I find 90% of the time we use the boat a cruiser would be more useful.

I'm in a similar situation w/ 3 little boys, 6, 4 & 2. We bought the Outlaw b/c of the large cockpit area and freeboard but there not that interested in speed. I'm thinking of a large center console w/ twin outboards. I just can't get myself to list it yet. In the end, it'll depend on how much of a hit I'll have to take.

If I was in the market for a nice 33 OL I think your boat might bring as much as $60K. :eek: :drink: but since I'm not you'll probably sell her for $90K - $100. It's to bad the boat market sucks right now. If people aren't giving it away it just sits....and sits......and sits...... :(

I realize the boat market is tough right now but I feel its worth more than $100K. I'm working on a trade and the sales tax savings lets me accept a bit less for it.

Seems High I could have picked up a 33 SST 496 HOs 2004 leftover for 89K brand new full warannty...

Wilsons (our local baja dealer) just sold a 05 w/496 425's for 123k on a eagle trailer,it had 7 hrs from demo rides on it,hopes this helps,Smitty

Mine's gone. Worked it on on trade. 340 Cruisers Yachts on the way. Thanks for all the input. Hope there is a Cruiser forum as great as this one. I'll problably still spend more time here. My heart will always be with my Baja.

I found a new 29 SST 03 with 496 mags for 85k, and I thought that was a great price. (in 03)

You always seem to have low prices to talk about but not many details to back them up.

I cannot believe a dealer would sell that boat for such a loss when the market will bare more.

Have you priced 496HO's and drives lately. The price just does not add up for a new boat, left over or not.

Okay Dock, First I rarley post here. Secondly you are mistaken when you say I always have "these low prices on boats with no way to back them up" The only other time I posted about a low price is on my new 2004 SSE 29 outlaw with twin 496mags on a triple axel trailer WHICH I bought. I dont know of a better way to back it up than with a purchase?? Which when I first posted about the purchase of the 29 most did not beleive me. I dont just make things up just to say them I have better thing to do with my time and if you knew me you would not have posted that silly statement. We have a mutual friend Ellis Winton who lives on Lake Norman where you boat. If you want just ask him about my personal character and you will find I deal with facts and dont make **** up....have a nice day

What dealer thosetwins? Marine Max sold on of their leftover team boats for mid 90's I think...As a brand new boat with full warranty on a Mclain trailer....This is info from a sales guy at the dealership so it my or may not be correct......First hand info I have as of right now is a 33' w basic options and HO's is selling for $132k out the door on a Mclain trailer.
