Loved the Cig (how can you not?!) but moved from the coast to Vegas and wanted a smaller, single engine boat for Mead & Havasu. If I move close to the ocean again I'll probably get a Gun but this boat will suit my needs for many years to come (hopefully!). :D

Thanks, G Man! I'm picking it up Saturday, can't wait!

Was looking at these as well as the 24' Pantera's. I liked the race liniage of the Pantera's but they are really small with a 7' beam. The Baja was just a lot more boat and even though I'm a single guy, it's nice to have the extra room for guests. :D

Right! I had a 24 Pantera and it was a great boat and a great company. Trouble is the small beam if you are need of space. You will love the outlaw. Good Luck

Up at 4AM, drive 300 miles to lake Elsinor to get the boat. This lake is filled with green slime! The dealer wet delivery guy, Capt Bernie asked me if I wanted to splash the boat or not 'cause he knew the lake was mucky and I have boating experience. They normally require a "wet delivery" but would wave it if I didn't want to because of my experience. I thought about it and figured I should check evrything out. Plus, I wanted to run the boat!

The boat is effing awesome!!!! :D :D :D

Capt Bernie starts out in it and I'm just checking everything out. We're cruising along at what I think is about 30 and I look over and we're doing 60! We topped out at 71 (GPS) but it was so smooth it felt much slower. This boat rides and handles extreemly well. Of course after 6 to 8's last weekend any lake would feel smooth!

I ran it around the lake once and then put it back on the trailer and hammered the 300 miles back home. Just got it put away.

I am very happy! :D :p

I forgot to take any pictures of the boat in the water! :(
