It works great! It will run off shore power or the gen I mounted in the engine compartment!

The dimension is 12" wide by 281/4" deep on each side. Igloo makes a small cooler that will fit in there. Get one for each side and you're done.

Customtouch, tell me more about the A/C unit? What is the brand? Do you have any more pics of the install?

Customtouch, last question, what are your locker doors made from? Did you make them?

The a/c unit is a Mermaid and the gen is a self-contained Honda 1000 watt . It is mounted on the port side between the hull and the motor. I had to build a shelf to mount it to and notch out a small section of the engine compartment to fit it in. I mounted it with transom tie downs so it can be removed for service. You can see all of this in the first post. You can see in this picture where I built an exhaust pipe that goes up high and drops down to stop backwash. At the bottom of the pipe I injected the cylcled water from the a/c unit so the exhaust would be water cooled going through the transom. I wrapped the exhaust pipe with header tape to contain the heat. I also added a blower motor to the fresh air intake in front of the gen to blow cold air on it and keep it cool.

Here is a close up of the a/c unit mounted in the closet. The condensation over flow drains into the bilge.

Here is a picture of the pump and sea strainer mounted to the stinger. There is a shut-off valve where the water comes in through the clamshell pick-up in the bottom of the boat but you cannot see it in the picture. I mounted it all to a piece of starboard and then attached it to the stringer so it could be removed easily for service. P.S. the plug you see is for the battery tend and has nothing to do with the a/c.

Here is the exhaust tip comming out the back of the boat. It is a factory tip with a flapper to prevent backwash.

I also added a couple of extra vent holes to let out the hot air.

Here is a picture of the digital thermostat. Set it and it works just like home.
