Re: Question for 36 outlaw owners
Well got the 28's out, and MAN did it kill performance!!
The most I could get out of it was 4600 rpms at 68mph. Previously I ran the labbed 26's at 5600 @ 74. the 28's are stock and the 26's are labbed. From 26's to 28's i should drop about 400 rpms, then the 26's are labbed, so i should lose another 300. which would put me around 4900. but i figure this knocked me out of my horsepower band and killed performance. midrange sucked bad, and it took it a lot longer to get to WOT. I dont know what the next step is. Ill probably load the boat up with a bunch of people and fuel and see where it spins to. I also have a pair of 3 blades i want to try. Ive got the lower "x" so its worth a shot for a little on the top. |
Re: Question for 36 outlaw owners
The one thing i noticed though was my prop slipped dropped into a pretty good range. if i could only figure out how to do that with the 26's ill get those last couple of mph.
