If I a guy didn't already have a boat and had medium power laying around it would be a nice starting point for a hotrod. Similar baja 302's from mid 90's with mag motors and stock drives go in the mid 40's to 50's depending on condition,Smitty

35K will get u hot motors.
Another 5-10K for rigging and misc.
So you're looking at $70k...

A 302 with 310's (7.4 MPI) will run a honest 60-63 mph, with mags, 67-70 and over 70 with 502's...

The boat is pretty comparable to a 29 Outlaw and should perform very well n rough conditions since it's a true Deep V without steps and pad.

I think he was talking price, put in mild power and get 40-50k. It should go the speeds you have above.

It would take some work, but it sounds like a good deal to me if you sell the old drives and boxes. That should be a good down payment on new power.
