Anyone have a ladder?
 

I wanted to check with the Baja crowd to see if anyone has, or knows where to get a swim ladder for a 29 to 36 center mounted ladder for the outlaws. I have found them new for around $300 and wanted to know if anyone had one to sell that wasn't so expensive. HELP!

2001 29 Outlaw woth the tube platform. I believe it is the same ladder for all the Outlaws with twin motors.

I just bought one direct from Windline for my 29OL the part number is SM-3XG for the same ladder Baja orders. The "G" is for the red button to release and lock the ladder.

That's what I paid. Mine has rubber on the swim platform not anti-skid tape. I used to know the name of the company that makes the swim platforms for Baja but can't remember it......

190.00 for a 29 Outlaw style??
I just called them(Windline) yesterday Tuesday. They told me 290.00 shipped. They said I should try Baja direct. The were 279.00 plus shipping. They also said I have to order throught a local dealer.

190.00 is much better. Thats the same part number I am looking for.

Can you confirm..I am in need also.

I just paid $190 today. It cost $10 for shipping so it is at my door for $200 total. They beat anyone I found. Extreme Marine carries them for $300+shipping. I will let you know how it turns out.

Ebay, baja has an ebay acount, I cant remember username, but there is almost always a ladder on there

Yes I check the Baja Ebayer.. Not the same ladder at this time.

I called windline again today. They said the ladder for 190.00 the SM-3XG is not the baja ladder. The SM-3XGA is the ladder Baja orders from them. and it 275.00 plus shipping.

Please when you reciece the ladder post a pic.
I will get a snap shot of mine to post as well.

i have a 25ol and my ladder is stuck. the red button is stuck in. can i play with this thing or should i just get a new one.

All the Red Button does is push over a little tab. Just reach or look behind on the left side and push the little metal tab over and it will come out. I would first take the ladder off, their is nothing to these ladders.

The red button is threaded on the inside and screws onto a long shaft. Just unscrew the button if nothing else.

Well, my ladder showed up last night and it works perfect. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance, but if you need a ladder this one fits perfect.
I am not sure what is different between this one and the one that they claim Baja orders, but I have no problems with this one!

When I spoke to windline they claimed the Baja Ladder was more heavy duty. reason for the higher price.

I bought the same Ladder for my 29' and it is the same Factory Ladder as my buddies 29' and my Brother's 25'. Just order it and you won't be sorry.

The ladder worked great! I don't know why it would need to be any heavier than this one is. I have no complaints at all and it bolted right up. Here are a couple of pics. There not real good, but you can see the ladder mounted.

One thing is to check and see if you have the the two pieces of flatt stock to mount the ladder. If you don't, Don't worry mine didn't and I can show you how I did mine and it is just like Factory.....

Yep same part number they gave me. But added a "A" at the end for 100.00 :(

Did they ask you for what boat or did you just order that number.
I am sure they will give me grief and say it cannot be returned...etc...

Dennis I did tell them when I ordered but they never said anything about "A" Like I said, I just ordered the SM-3XG=$190.00 and it is the same as my borthers that came from the Factory so save the $100.00.....

Can someone measure the aluminum bracket on the underside of their platform and let me know the size of this bracket please? (LxWxD) I'm adding a WINDLINE SM-3XG ladder to my CIG and plan on welding 2 brackets in place before I bolt up the ladder & paint the platform. I Just need to fab. 2 brackets. Any info &/or pictures will help. Below is my old BAJA and a pic of the new cig platform. The ladder will go in the center.
