Does anyone have experience with a Labbed 25" Mirage Plus?

I just bought one and was wondering what others experienced......I have an HO doing 68.9 GPS and I'm constantly on the rev limitter.

I am surprised to see you on the reving at 5100 with a 25 mirage. Has it been labbed down or anything? I had a labbed 23p mirage on a 2002 25 OL with the HO and was hitting 5100, but I wouldn't think you would be able to spin a 25 that fast. There are things the prop guys can do to make it bite more and bring your RPM's down, but I would guess that if you are able to spin it something has already been done to that prop.

I haven't put the 25 on yet......still have the 23....just wondering what the 25 will be like?

OK. that makes more sense...I did not try a 25 but everyone kept telling me that it would not spin it. I had my 23 re-labbed by Houston prop and he got me a little more out of the boat. It was running 67.9 originally and it ran a best of 69.1 after sending back twice to get it dialed in. The first time he got my RPM's down a little, but didn't gain any speed. The final time he did it, I got the 69.1 (GPS) but was back up to 5100 rpm's

Try the 25 and let us know how it does. Good luck!
