That's a good idea. It would be just like those sorry asses to f*ck up what they couldn't steal!

AIR TIME 05-11-2007 08:36 AM

YEP with my luck, I hope to have a full bulkhead all the way up the back instead of stopping at the floor and put one where the cabin dash area is with built in foot rests, when I have the money I am going to order 3 more bolsters and put them where the back seat was. well going in for operation #8 in june on the knee:rolleyes: ,and then will need just one more after that I think. art

AIR TIME 08-10-2007 10:48 AM

well its aug and still need the other operation, for parts just need a steering plate, carb 1050 and thats about it well the seats for the back to. I should have some new pics on here next week from last yr:cool-smiley-011: .the new shortie is polished this time and the b1 x drive is cool. art

If you're going to run like that with a camera in you hand be sure to keep it going when your ass flies out of the boat! That could be a serious YouTube moment!

AIR TIME 08-10-2007 10:05 PM

hey it was wild how quick it started once I stopped moving the steering wheel back and forth:cool-smiley-011: and tried to snap the pics as fast as I could it was still climbing from 79 to 80.2 or 3 and that was it, well when it hits the water it will have full steering last yr still had the add on kit. the rest is in a box:D art

its a 88 I bought it from a friend in 90 his new wife wanted to order a 250 sport for 10,000 more so I got his, it came from a friends baja dealer late 88. if my chit wasn't stolen was hoping for 85gps with a 28 or 30 labbed bbladdes pro. so this winter ordering 3more bolsters from cali to match the front new ones put them in back 3across. and maybe do some more head work from jim v:cool: its had a double the hp since 95 in it:p it came with a 330hp 454 now 670hp 509 hoping for 700 with the head work. ps whats funny when my old bud was around and someone was checking out my boat with the scoop, motor fairing and all the other stuff I add he'd say oh that boat that was mine and I'D SAY YEAH WHEN IT WAS A STOCK 330 HAA HAAH.

air time you got nice boat! i have same boat i been looking for for the out law windsheild.? did you put that on ?if so do you no were i can buy one ??:hitfan:

AIR TIME 03-06-2008 11:03 AM

I bought it in 94 from baja we stuffed the boat and the glass and frame broke, so the insurance co. gave me a choice I told them we got cut up 3 guys but no one sued me this time:D. so I said I wanted the screen instead:D. art

bajabob 03-06-2008 06:09 PM

i try 3 places they said they can not get that. nothing wrong with my windsheild. i like the outlaw look . thanks

AIR TIME 03-12-2008 09:54 PM

well if my knee replacement doesn't happen soon maybe I can ask a class guy to splash it and he could sell them on the side or I will try to make a paper template we will see. I will try and come up with somethink. art

AIR TIME 06-18-2008 03:28 PM

a glass guy is coming over next week to look at my ideas ofmaking airtime bullit proof:D, cause there is going to be a 700hp motor and maybe a 1000hp motor going in it in july or aug it looks. I am looking at 2 sutphens and need to decide if AT will be up for sale with a 700hp plus motor or stock 454. or stay with it. sut one is a friends 31 89 that needs motors the other is a 85 33 with 540s that need work plus paint. I most likely will stick with mine since I will have a ton of money in it since 02. but if the 31 is 20,000 or under with no power I will get it.lenght its all about lenght. well mine will have a new bulkhead full height where the back seat was and a new one where the cabin is a ring one before the bed these 24s were to loose that pull out back seat was a big mistake no strenght., my boat will belightened up to no wood top chit thats why I will most likely keep it have the guy custom paint it and buy the 1000hp 572 1071 motor:D I was thinking a flag paint job. well what do you guys think, gas is high and it might stay there so twin 650hps will be a lot more than one 750hp or 1000hp I think. ps never got my back pay thats owed to me so its sitting.:grinser010:

Well the boat is still apart and its good I didn't have the new bulkhead made I got a 572 1050hp motor going in and we need to make more room in the engine area bilge longer:eek:. my goal is to do 100 or die in this thing:ptrying:p.ours have come close at 98 with more horses but I HAVE THE 2'' SHORTIE AND THINK THATS GOOD FOR 4 TO 6 MPH and once I GET THERE I will put on a smaller drive friendly prop like a b1 30 which should get it in the 90s with a red line of 6400:eek:. I hope to paint it with a friend also keeping the red, then silver, yellow maybe black to. oh just got the knee replaced and its been hell but hope to bewalking by xmass going to keep the 509 for back up its about 670hp right now as is, my buddy said you should sellit and buy a stock motor for back up, yeh right the heads and carb are worth what he wants to buy mine for 5000. it got about 25 to 30 hours on it.he likes to low ball yeah:p I said 10,000 and I will have to think about it.joking of coarse I got a lot of money in that motor to so why sell it for a lose and buy some stock junk merc which was how that started out. then everything was changed from the 502 I ran it for 2 or 3 years stock then made 3 upgrades over 4 years well found some more pics just got to get them on here. artie

bajabob 11-01-2008 06:58 PM

hay air timei have same boat and headers i need to put new risers out to transom when you put yours on did you have to move the hole were the pipes come out ? what was the cost of the pipes?:ernaehrung004:

AIR TIME 11-05-2008 06:19 PM

yes mine was a custom set I MOVED MINE 4'' i THINK I think my set was made for the x of a trs set up iAM GOING TO SELL THEM FOR 1100.00 THERE DRY AND IN GOOD SHAPE later artie

AIR TIME 04-22-2009 07:54 PM

up date going to konrad ace so I can run a 5 blade:evilb: and should handle the 1050hp DEAN GELLNER 572 BLOWER MOTOR, well decide to rip the floors up with redoing the bulkheads stringers look good but will check better after old motor is out. going to move the gas tank 6'' it looks so need to redo custom motor hatch again and might make it into a 4 seater or 3 seater or 2 seater and then would have more engine room.:evilb: I hate bending over a back seat to work on the motor you never know who is behind you:eek:. so with the light weight floors and bulkheads the boat should be about 3600lbs or lighter.

How fast does it run with the 575 SCI ?

AIR TIME 05-11-2009 02:20 PM

THINKING ABOUT MAKING MINE A 2 SEATER OR 3??? what do you guys think haha. I need to move the gas tank foreward to make room to get at the pulleys for the blower so I was thinking instead of a back seat make it part of the bilge. I never have more than one or two with me, my wife has not been in the boat since 95 when the 1st race motor went in with dry pipes:p. so I might make a thin 3 pack stand up behind the front seats. so it will be easy to work on the motor. I will keep the cabin but will add 2 bulkhead rings, to stiffen it up. resale I don't care if I move up to a custom hull next yr Iwas going to strip mine of everything and sell hull trailer for 5 grand even though the hull will have 10 in it:p. and I may just keep it if I can kick azz with it and feel safe at 100:eek:. so I need at least 4'' to 6'' of bilge room so WITH NO BACK SEAT I could stand in front of the motor to work. sounds good or what.

empire0007 05-23-2009 07:48 PM

keep the pictures coming. I will have some of mine soon as it's been modified
