Microwave in a 342?
 

How do I get the microwave out of my 342? It is a 99 model. The microwave sits back in the hole to far to allow the door to fully open. It also doesn't seem to work. I am guessing that it isn't broken sinse it is still in the plastic and has never been used. Just need to adjust it and trouble shoot the power issue.

Under the hole that its in. There should be screws on the bottom. undue the screws and the piece of wood and the microwave will slide out. The mircro just sits on the wood in some wholes cut in it. Mine died this year I don't think they can take the pounding.

That would suck if mine is dead from the pounding. The guy I bought the boat off of never used it. Everything is still in the plastic. Guess I will pull it out and take a look. Is it pluged into and outlet behind it or is it hard wired to the breaker?

Mine was plugged into a recp. behind the micro. Pulled out the over took it in the house. It dead.

O looked under my microwave and didn't see any screws. There are 2 holes that are verrrrrryyyy small though. Could they be set screws? or maybe the screws are suppose to be in those holes? Either way this thing will not budge. I took out the fuse pannel and didn't see anything coming in from the sides. I am about to break out the plasma cutter and burn this thing out.

Figured it out. This this is litterally wedged in there. I figured if it doesn't work what do I have to loose. Pulled the hell out of it and it started coming out. Will get it out of there this weekend and see what is up. May be looking for a new one at wally world.
