29 OUTLAW 454 mpi to 502. HELP.
 

I am replacing the motors in my 29 OL. I have 454 mpi’s in it now I want to upgrade to 502 mags. Has anyone done this swap? if so what did it consist of?

do some 500's. that will get you in the low 80's :evilb:

make sure with either option you add external hydraulic steering. they dont come with that with the 310hp engines.

I did that to a 26' Donzi a couple years ago,
( mind you, this was a complete engine,
no component transfers)
it was a piece of cake......take one out,
put the other in....everything plugged in,
connected up the same.

Ditto on the steering comment.
