I have 1" shorties on my 99 - 29 Outlaw. 73 mph gps with 385hp motors 26' b1's @ 5100 rpm.
Did you see any increases in speed with the shorties alone, and how to they handle on the 29? |
Re: 1" shorty Lower
I bought the boat with them. The guy I bought it from claimed it ran 68-69 before. I confirmed that with a friend of his, before the friend found out I owned the boat. Make sense?
Coustomtouch can verify my speed. We ran with each other @ PK last summer. |

Coustomtouch can verify my speed. We ran with each other @ PK last summer. Was not doubting the speeds at all. I am impressed, it sure did make a difference. Now if David "CustomTouch" had told me that, well I may not have believed it!:evilb: The 68 to 69 is what a friend of mine saw with the same power. I am not expecting to pick up that much speed from what I have seen on the 36, but who knows? Thanks Dock |

Not to hijack the thread, but how would the 1 or 2" shortie perform on a smaller baja? Such as a 1995 240 sport. Has anybody tried this or know of anyone who has? Any kind of results would be nice. Right now my prop shaft is about 8" below the bottom of my boat.
