I do not know if they were a factory option or not. Personally I like the radar arch, but I am in the minority. Every poll I have seen the majority have not liked them. I guess that is why not a single performance boat manufacturer offers them as stock, and hardley any even offer them as an option. They are functional in cruiser applications, but I would be surprised to see them come back on performance boats. |
I don't think I've ever seen a 32 Outlaw with an arch. They came on a lot of the early 420s and 370s but not too many Outlaws.

I had one on my 38 and wish that my 442 had one. You hear everyone ragging on them but they are extremely functional for mounting the bimini to. In Florida during the summertime, showers are a given and putting up the bimini when the wind is blowing is not what I call fun. Great for mounting speakers so the rear passengers can hear the stereo when running. Maybe I am just getting old but I never thought they took away from the look of the boats. It seems most people are sold on old school with a fancy paint job. Just my .02.

i have a 2000 25' outlaw. i was told it was one 8 with its paint job. its solid yellow hull with a purple slash on the bow, white and black stripe on the side from bow to stern with purple slash and black checker bord on the sides in the back. i have no clue if its true. what do you now about it.

BAJA 1996-2008 Model Information (Production #s) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just found a sheet with some interesting numbers. Nothing important, but some good info. For example: (All of these fall between 1996-2008) - Of those years, 1998 shows the most boats being built that year at a total of 1,970 boats. - The model with the highest production # in a year goes to the 1997 HAMMER with 266 of them being built that year! (The 25 Outlaw comes in around 6th place at exactly 200 being built in 2001) - The highest total for any model listed is the 25 Outlaw (1998-2006) with 1,366 being built. - 442 (1999-2003) shows only 37 were built. - 33 Outlaw shows a total of 395 boats built between 98-06. - 36 Outlaw shows a total of 221 boats built between 97-06. - The grand total of boats built from 1996-2007 (08 was not included) is 15,966 boats! |
