1972 16' Baja
Hi, Just happened on this thread and looks like I'll need a week to read all of it. I have a 1972 Baja Hull # GC11726M83G Pics in my album because too noob to put inline here yet....
I've always wondered about her origins and never was able to find the complete specs or brochure on her.... she used to be Candy Apple Red glitter with a possible bronze bottom.... she had been redone in yellow topside and white hull long before I got her and remains so to this day.... She had a "tired" 3 Cylinder 70 HP on her, but when that threw a rod, I put a 4 cylinder 90 on her with power tilt/trim and she's topped out at 40 MPH, with the set up... she's too old a girl to beat the piss out of, so I just keep her at about 30 MPH and try not to slam too many wakes.... Anyone have any info on this early model?? |
Here you go Rbser, here's your very nice piece of Baja history. Welcome to the best boat forum around. :) https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...af0feb1487.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...60319997a2.jpg |

Hey, I was wondering.... this Baja has no "capacity" plate on it referring to # of people and max weight... any ideas what the specs could be???

I seen earlier in the thread about wanting the stuff for 38 Specials. The 90's pink will blind you on this one....lol |
