You can polish you aluminum one then clear powdercoat it where it will not oxidize.

I was not looking for the look. There is a guy in my town that wanted to build me one. I have a fiberglass one now, I am changing it out.

But thanks

How easy is it to fix dents in the aluminum platforms. I have been looking at some boats that have some pretty good size dents in them. Is it even possible to fix them? Fortunately, we haven't had to do anything with ours.

Put some bondo on the dents and paint it up.

There are two ways to fix them. One is to build up the dent with weld then sand it back down to the original shape. This will only work if it is a samll dent. The other way is to cut out the dent and replace it with another and sand down the seams. Both ways are pretty easy for a qualified fitter and welder.

Then you can powder coat once you are done.
