496 whipple in a 275 ?
Someone already installed a whipplecharger in his 2OO4 275 baja ?
No issues with front clearance problems ? Any relocation needed? Performance / speed gains ? All info would be really appreciated :D |
Be carefull supercharging with out modifiing the intrnals, they arent built like the old 454- 502 mags, Im pretty sure they have cast pistons and stuff

thx all warnings...
But still no luck to find my answer... Will the whipplecharger fit without modifications rear seat / engine compartment ? Electrical engine hatch actuator is located just in front of the engine ... Maybe a proud 275 owner could post some pictures / front clearence ? |
Im not sure on 275, but shouldnt be much different than a 272, trent from dallasboats4sale.com, had a whippled 272

Just call Whipple direct and ask them how much clearance is needed. If memory serves me correctly the new kits only need 2 inches in front and on the 496 I think it is actually slightly lower than the stock plastic cowling. Also check the website I think the dimensions are there too.
I highly recommend the Whipple. I've used them for years you will love it. Smitty www.whipplesuperchargers.com |
