Thanks guys. I definately won't have much free time on my hands in a long while....Anyone in the northshore area of Lake Pontchartrain wanna take me for a ride in their boat to keep me motivated let me know!!!!

I dont want to be Mr negative, but is it worth it to fix her?

I see things like this boat http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/2/4/88617224.htm

and I would think you are going to have more then this invested to bring her back.

Now if its a matter of principle I COMPLETLY understand wanting to bring her back,,,,, but dollar wise,,,,, I am just wondering if it wouldnt be money ahead to part it out and start over.

Sorry you had to go through all this !!!!

I guess any normal person would probably write it off, but not I my friend, for I am far from normal. No but really, I have gone through enormous hardships in the last 19 months and I have rebuilt just about everything else taken from me in that horrible year of 2005. So now I figure why stop now. Actually, had that phukhead not stolen my Outlaw it also would have been done by now..... I can only push ahead now my man. Thanks for your concern. It is a pleasure to have honest people like all my OSO bros to keep me going. On we go.....

Good luck on your rebuild. It will be worth it in the end.

Thanks guys....I will keep all of you posted. I am now looking at a 540 ci powerplant. I just don't think my 1994 Bravo drive will be able to handle the projected 620HP. Any input will be appreciated.

In a light 24 footer you might survive if you take it easy out of the hole and watch your wave hoping.

CAPTAIN CHUCK 04-25-2007 06:51 PM

Well that just doesn't sound like any fun now, does it?:D
Any opinions on what drive I should shop around for that could def. handle the added HP?

yzbert 04-25-2007 07:10 PM

looks like you have a lot of work to do before power and drives. i look forward to the progress.

CAPTAIN CHUCK 04-26-2007 10:23 PM

Well guys I put down a deposit on a 540 ci engine today. According to my new buddy Steve I should be looking at 625 horses with this new bad boy!!! I am on the fence about a new drive. I know a bravo can handle the power but I honestly don't think my 1994 bravo drive, that has been sitting untouched for the last 2 years, can handle it. Any suggestions from you high HP guys? Thanks fellas.

Chuck
