While I was waiting out the salesguys at So Austin Marine on my Scarab, my wife and I went down to Johnny Finns around lunch. Lots of nice rides out there ....... her favorte was the Cigarette Mystique ....... of course she has excellent taste. Mine as the nice 40 Baja along the sshort dock side aalong the bar. All I needed to do to move up is mortgage the rest of the house and sell the kid.
Our plan it to be at the LKPA run on the 19th. Hope to see you guys out there. It looked like a lot of fun. Anyone have an idea for the easiest place to keep a boat in a shed? Jeff |

Our second trip out to Texas for the event and it keeps getting bigger and better.
Thanks to Rich and all the team from The Ski Dock for all their hard work. Thanks also to VIP Marina, Johnny Fins and Charley T's. And a very special thank to Jay and Barb "Never Enough" for opening their home to us and extending that big Texas hospitality. Great to see everyone, and especially nice to meet Jason and Dallas. Sorry you had drive problems buddy. I hope the repair is easy on the pocket book. Dock P.S. This is the picture of Jason & Dallas. I have uploaded over 100 photo's in the gallery over at www.powerboatparty.com |

I had some NA 540s in a 32 fountain a couple yrs ago. It would run 80mph@4500 or 80 at 5000 with a prop change. Long story short the guy I sold it to changed the drives to turn in and picked up 500-600 rpm and ran over 90. Are your drives turning in or out?
I took the drive off tonight & the oil didn't look great, but it didn't look bad either. It will be apart tomorrow morning & I'll know more about the damage. I'm gonna put bearings in the other one just because I can. It may not need it, but they will both be fresh that way. |
