What's it worth?
 

I have someone who wants to sell his 2001 Baja 25 Outlaw; HP 500 w/Whipple, Bravo 1, tabs, hydraulic steering, Heritage twin axel trailer, recently upgraded sound system and recently detailed. Fresh water only, good condition. Whats' it worth?

The whipple's going to make it harder to sell, I'd guess about 40k or maybe a little more.

Is the 500 the original motor from Baja new?

Is the Whipple the new style top mount or the older side mount style?

If if is the original motor and the Whipple is the newer style top mount the boat in really good condition should be worth 50 - 55 K in my opinion.

I would not be afraid of it at all based on what I know of the 500 and the whipple. It's a very good package.

It's really not about what it's worth, rather, it's about what someone would pay for it. My experience has been that in all except high-end boats, a blower motor is a real detriment for most potential buyers. They see it as a liability.
For this reason the boat hits me at around $40K also.
