496ho swap into '97 232?
 

Will a takeout 496HO complete swap into a '97 232, or will there be complications?

I didnt think the holes in the transom would align properly for the drive & exhausts between the 454/502s to 496s. Im sure someone has a more definitive answer.

When I did my conversion from 502 to 496, the transom exhaust did not match up and we had to make custom pipes for exhaust. Was not very expensive to do. Everthing else fit fine.

Just finished switching from a 454 to a 496 HO. The hole in you transom will not line up. I had a welder fabricate some extension on my Corsa switchable exhaust. It work great and it did not cost to much. Other than that no major issues.
