Thunder In The Valley

Thunder in the Valley (Tenessee Poker Run) made the summer 2007 Baja Full Throttle Magazine.

Congrats to our own Matt "Haulinvols" for a job well down on the article. I think he missed his calling and should be a writer.

http://bajamarine.com/index.asp?display=magazine&tab=2&

Go to the above link and you can download the entire magazine right off the site.

It does not get any better then the total support Baja is giving it's owners on the poker run circuit. The website, Full Throttle Magazine and a custom Poker Run boat now every year for five years.

Go Baja

I hope all of you will write, call or email Baja showing your support or at least show it here on this thread they do look at these.

Thank you

The new 2008 Baja Poker Run boat will also be a 40 Outlaw with 700's an another KILLER paint job from Clayton and his team at Kustom Kolors!

Clayton and his team pulled out all the tricks on this award winning paint job. This boat won the best looking paint and best looking rig at almost every stop it made last year.

I would give anything if this was a better quality picture. Mike that shoots the Jacksonville video copied it off the video and it is not good picture quality.

Hmmm In the Miami shots I see 1075 on the engine covers... Sweet !!!
But the final version ended up with 850's ?????

2008 will be a 40....Wahoo..Is that trip 700's or twin. I think for thins they may have todo a light layup.

They were originally supposed to be 1075's, and the covers somehow said 1075 but they were actually 850's.

Is there only one "Poker Face" Boat that was built or was there more than one? cuz in one of the videos that i watched on her it looked like it didn't have a rear step at the end of the boat?

Just one when it first came out it did not have a swim platform on it.

Twins

It will be a much slower boat then Poker Face or Lucky's but still be in the low 80's. The length will make up for some of the speed on the really rough runs they do like Chicago and Sarasota.

The State of Arizona found my boat documented there with he coast guard and wanted me to pay a sales tax for the purchase price and also property taxes. The original amount would have been over $7K. It took about three months to convinence them that we do not live there, have never been there and do not boat there. I'm afraid if I ever take the boat to Arizona and they stopped me it would open up a big can of worms!

Dock Holiday 09-28-2007 08:17 AM

Anyone want to make a suggestion for a name they can use on the new 2008 custom 40 Outlaw Poker Run boat?

I met the guy up at Lake Erie that came up with the Poker Face and Lucky 7's theme and he is probably back in the dark hole they but him in to get his creative juices flowing. I'm sure he could use a little help from all of us.

List your suggestions here!

We had an invite last year to come out and ride with a friend that has a 36 OL and a house there at Havasu but we were not able to make it.

I would love to come out but I'll be bumming a ride because my boat ain't going to Arizona.
