well when I had 590hp I RAN A 25 MIRAGE to 5600 with 1.50 GEAR, then built a 650hp motor ran 5200 with 1.50 gear 76gps, then went to 670hp 26pbravo 1 prop 2'' shortie drive ran out of prop at 6000rpm hit 83.2gps hit 80.2 at 5700 , the new carb 1050 dom by nickerson and the 2''shortie imco made big # s I figure if I HAD A 30 LAB OR 28 IT WOULD HAVE HIT 86 we will see this spring and the boat was a handfull to drive. I only had single add on steering which is a joke you need full hyd steering and you need 1.50 gears 1.36 are for boats that turn a lot higher pitches as 34s or36s. and with the 1.50s I would go from 25 to 70 in a blink of an eye.

baja ol my buddy run same boat 150 drive 23 mirage3600 at 40 irun 40 mph 23 mriage at3000rpm 600 rpm 5 clisk on throttle running on two getting good gas miles 52mph that was454 480 hp now 540 dart 600 or better dont no til dnyo i like in cruise 60 or better i run mirage plus the bow lift to high the boat handle bad so i took the cup out the bow was lower gain 200 rpm boat handle better sand bottom boat 180 grit 8 feet back bigger trim tabs you will be amaze the speed you will pick up
