Anyone see the new Hammer X in Miami?
Just wondering how it looked, and how close it is to the artist renderings. Also wanted to know if they announced a price there.

I saw it - I thought it looked very much like the renderings. Not sure if they had announced a price or not. They were telling me that it was quick with the HO due to its light weight.
I'll go through my pictures - I know I took one standing level with the rear hatch from behind and probably one from the front. |
That would be great.

It's a very nice looking boat.
Greg is during the 100 hour test on it this week that must be completed before it is available to the public. I'll keep you posted as I hear the performance results. I like the boat and feel it is an improvement in the Baja offering for that size range. |

Yeah, it looks pretty cool up front but those rear haunches and drooping rubrail are awful.

Thanks for posting these Dock. It's nice that they added a V-berth up front. I'll have to reserve judgement on the styling until I see it in the water. I hope it comes in at a good price.

Sorry Michael... I didn't forget about you. I can't find my camera cord.. took it to Miami and haven't seen it since. Whenever I track it down I have about 100 pics from the show... but by this point I don't think they are much different than everything else posted.

I just spoke to the boyz in Florida and they are towing the "X" back up from the Keys today. They had to do a photo shoot and will be water testing it tomorrow.
They expect 72 to 74 MPH out of it. They have the bad job of having to run the boat 100 hours in Fort Myers! I'll keep you posted as they check in. |

Has anyone heard since Baja was sold that the Hammer X will be put on the shelf and not produced?
The reason I ask is our Baja dealer told me this over the weekend and would like to know if there is any truth to this. |
