JT,
I will be leaving the old engines in a long block form from oil pan to EFI intake. We plan to keep them for backup motors if possible. I have already had several people want to buy them but they will be just long blocks with the oil pan and intake if I sell them.
I'm removing the computer, bell housing, fly wheel, pulleys, etc for use on the new motors.
Jason has known about this project for a couple of months now and it has tore him up that I have not posted.
I am also thinking very serious about changing my transom assemblies to the new IMCO with the built on steering cylinders.
The engines are promised to be ready late April and we should have them in the first of May. I'm doing a lot of work right now in the bildge which should make for a nicer look.

You should be a little over 92 mph. You are doing the same setup as what I am doing, but my drive heights will make me a little slower than you.
Very interesting project you are doing. I would have never thought you would go with the big power blower motor setup.
Just wait til the first time you roll on the power especially on take off. I know you have driven other boats, but it will be special beacause it is your own and you were used to how long it took to plane out. Now it will be almost instantly up and out!!
Can't wait to hear the final speed numbers.

I'm staying with the EFI setup. Whipple Stage II Polished.
I looked at a lot of options but the Whipple is proven, it fits and it looks very clean under the engine hatch.
