How does the boat handle at the higher speed?

Like a squirrel with it's tail cut off!

All I can say is the juice was worth the squeeze in my case. I gained 25 MPH & we don't do this because it is cheap, we do it because we love the sport!
13 MPH is pretty good!

Its much cheaper than buying a blue engine from factory

with 280 tabs two points down the boat handles very save at top speed :D

Jason, I meant no disrespect, you should know me well enough to know I like speed. I was just curious as to the cost versus say a blue motor option. My question was answered it seems.

I priced the BK 103 kit last fall and it was about $6,300.....labor is extra if you can't handle the install yourself. Not sure about the exhaust, probably another $2,500??? The you need a new prop..

Nice job next year unless you have some more cash now go with a 2''shortie lower drive, it helped me a lot , if you don't have full hydro steering for in side that will help more to. the shortie made my boat fly level out in the ocean.:D

I agree on the steering also...Don't spend all the money on speed without a little safety in mind! The stock 496 (375hp) was near the limit for the standard cable steering system.

THATS NOT WHAT I ASKED, I was asking if you still had the cable hook up inside and it looks it I see the steering cable behind the motor I am adding the inside kit which makes it a lot safer. my boat was still walking a lot at 83 so I have play in my wheel cable which is not old. that all folks.:D
