have forged parts, correct me guys}I have read were the 496
375hp motor runs within 1 to 2 mph of the 454 385hp, and the 320 hp is a little slower than that{another 1 or 2 mph} if you want a supercharger later on get the 454 mag.

I would go with the NEW / USED 232 myself.....
 

Thats 454mag is a great motor, I wish my 232 had one in it.. I only have the regular 454 300hp and my boat does between 58 and 61, depending on passengers and fuel.. save yourself 10 grand and get the 2000.

There are many reasons why that boat may never have been titled. IT could have been used by the dealer as a demo, by the dealer as a demo boat and personal ride. Dealers can use boats and not title them. Wouldn't hurt to ask ???. good luck...
