Sorry don't know that boat specifically, but looks to have been repowered and looks to be in good shape. Price seems fair for the market.
Absolutely make sure to get a survey done before buying. Also might want to have a mechanical survey done as well. Good Luck !!! |
There is a 1997 w 500's and are that can be bought for low to mid 40's

That boat in Mich has been on all summer, I think 50,000 is a bit much, you can find them with better power and in the 40's if you look hard, I would do a survey alos, one big problem with older baja's and many others was that all holes drilled were not sealed well, mainly drainage from front to rear, all the bulkheads seem to rot that way, I would really look at any hull well, boats are going cheap these days and you can buy alot of boat for the money if you look hard enough.
That hull is what I am told one of the best baja built in the 32 ft range, same as my 86 320 force... they would not have kept it if it was not good, I like my ride.. |
There was a 32 caliber for sale for YEARS up in traverse city area,a 94 or 95 that was never even registered at a dealer that just never sold,I think it had 32 hours of test timer on it,last time I saw the ad the price was in the high 40's or low 50's. Not bad for a 13 year old boat that was still "new",Smitty
haven't seen the ad this year |
would like more info on the new one and the one w 500 efi's if anyone has any, sold my boat today
|
Here is another 32....I know this dealer and the boat has been used very little but very well maintained. This ad is older and the price may be lower now.

|
Ralph said it wouldnt take long and I wasnt old enough to cruise, he was right
|
One is just coming in at www.grandsportcenter.com, look under "Used Performance". It has many updates, worked on motors, loud stereo, great shape. A tad older than you want but still the same boat. Call the Morris store location for information.

Damn good riding boat. |

I just listed my 32 Caliber here on OSO in the classified section. It is by far the nicest you will find anywhere. But I am not giving it away.

I owned a 1994 32 caliber and loved it! Wish I could have kept it in addition to my new boat. Nice rough water hull, HUGE cockpit. I love my new 33 outlaw also. There was just something about that caliber. You wont regret buying one if you do. And once you fall in love with the huge cockpit you will never be able to own a tiny 42 fountain!

Offshorexcursion - Man, I agree 100%! Right now I own an older 32' Baja Force, which I believe is the same hull/cockpit layout. I can afford a 32'-35' fountain, but I can't bring myself to lose cockpit room. I go out on larger scarabs and fountains and feel like they're smaller boats because their isn't any room to move around. I love my current boat and I'm definitely going to miss its roominess when I finally decide to get something newer. |
[QUOTE=wjb21ndtown;3224541]Brian, did you check out that Caliber in the ebay link? No offense to your boat, but that graphic wrap on that Ebay boat is sweet. The only thing I don't like about that Ebay boat is the 4 bolster cockpit.
Yes I did it looks nice but that does not mean it does not have rot issues and the power and drives on mine are worth more than my boat itself. The biggest problem with these boats (as with most) are that they used wood everywhere and unless you properly stored them and kept the water out of the bidlge its going to cost more than you payed for it to make it worth owning. I replaced my interior which was in near perfect condition 1 because it was outdated and 2 the foam was starting to go away. The wood was fine except for the hatch where I had got caught in the rain a few times and the wood became a sponge. |
the 32 is a nice boat and baja did a nice job but like formula they did the same think in the 80s and earl 90s plus others , if they used wood or balsa when they did there cut outs they didn't seal the holes like on mine the deck hatches and after years of running in 99 I had the balsa done over where needed in my deck the cut outs recut but this time they take out the balsa between the fiber glass fill it with fiberglass compound so its impossible for water to get back in between. my motor cover I got rid of the wood used balsa and a pro stock scoop. light weight and you can jump on it. and if baja put a full bulkhead in front of the motor and going in the cabin the 240 sport or 24ol would of been a lot more solid boat. glue down carpet is a no no too. in the bilge you need to pre seal the screw holes to. love my new saber it has 7 bulkheads only wood is one sheet in the transom so you can screw your wires and non through bolt pieces to it. and help noncrushing when mounting gimbals k planes. they do a nice job on there 28s 34s 41s. good luck with the 32 I use to run one on the cape he ran in the 60s with bravo 1s and 454 365hps
