Dock, The show is in Lincoln and we have a 4 terminal Air Port.

I am flattered that you guys would even think to come, I just do not want anyone to be disappointed! We are just a small boat dealer in the middle of NOWHERE! This show is a big deal to me, outside of that it is just somewhere to have a drink Friday or Saturday night:drink:

No thanks! Ive shared enough hotel rooms and condos with him in the past 3 years to last 10 lifetimes! My liver gets goose bumps just thinking about it! Put him up in the garage or dumpster out back and I'll think about it! :drink:

No need to apoligize. I just wanted to get the facts out there as to why the changes were made. It was not an excuse. As far as styling, your opinion is just as important as anyone else.

Excellent observation. However, in the old Baja facility, the production lines only moved as fast as the build time of the slowest built model on that line. At any given time there could be a 250 sportfish on the line with a 342. So in theory, yes the labor would have been reduced, but there was no definitive way to show it on the bottom line. A reduction in the bill of materials went directly to the bottom line.

Very true!.......but harder to prove, unless you "fire" someone.

If boat building was more like building automobiles, and one/two people performed the same task 100 times a day, it is easier to prove a savings. If you are just saving a group of guys 10 minutes of hassle, its harder to say that you saved the company a bunch of dollars in labor?

I doubt you can get off but who knows?

Not enough weekend for me to drive!

I'm a fly boy but it does not look like the dates are good for me.

Sorry

I've never been disappointed with a trip to see and talk about boats.

Wish I could come but it's not gonna happen this time.

Thanks

I think I have an award winning idea. Lets set up an ALL STAR "Dealer Meeting" at Sanibel. We will invite dealers past and present, and all the former Baja employees that made it happen. We will encourage anyone with a boat to bring it (You know J. Ford and Walter will show up with at least a 35 Outlaw!). It would be just like dealer meeting except you wont have to sit in any boring meetings, we'll skip right to the fun stuff! Now who wants to share a room with Jeff Becker?

:evilb:

Sounds great, except thats a long way! Lets do it at LOTO!!

I like my skin the way it is , I'm out on rooming with Becker!
