You could experiment and find that sweet spot and maybe mount it under the motor lid to pick up the sweet music from your engines.

I did alot of taping when I was out testing boats. I used to take the white shrink wrap tape and do some dumb sh*t with my new cameras like tape it to very tip of the bow and go wave hopping! :eek:
