I have been to these three.
Loto is to ruff for smaller boats and some big ones on the weekends.

Lake Erie islands are great but the lake can be anywhere from calm to 10 footers. To bad because it is close for me.

Cumberland is best. Jamestown and Grider hill have lodging.

If you were to do Put N Bay you might be able to reserve one side of B dock at the public docks. This way all boats would be together. You can raft four out to. If there is no run and the lake is rough you can always go slow and get to PNB.

I would recommend Put In Bay for anyone that hasnt been there, but it isnt really a central location. Great for us Ohio guys!

Ive always had fun at Cumberland, but Id rather vacation there on a houseboat than have an event there. Not much to do on that lake but sit on the boat and drink beer. Hmmm, on second thought........... :ernaehrung004:

LOTO, not just because I am prejudiced...

This being said... There are more places to stay and go than any other lake we have ever boated. Almost every bar/restaurant can handle an insurgence of Bajas for each meal or night life adventure...

The water is only really rough on Saturday... And depending on where you are it is not as brutal. You just need to plan your days accordingly.

I would also consider where would you be able to get some sponsorship help? LOTO has many places that know where their living comes from and generally are more open to helping out.

Cumberland has plenty of lodging. How do you think they hold the poker run every year.

I can sure see us all up at Kelly's Island and then rafted at Put In Bay! That area offers a LOT.

This would be the right area for a Baja event!!!

Put-N-Bay 1st year.....We will have the guard at the Baja plant let everyone take a group photo with their boats???

Cumberland after they put some more water in that hole..

LOTO can get rough, but that is mostly on the bigger weekends. I think if we do this on a non-holiday weekend even the guys with the smaller boats will be fine.

We did the PR Thunder on the lake on a Friday in my 24' and it was pretty choppy on the first half of that lake. Although we did start in the back of the pack. The weekend with those cruisers are horrible. All I can say is washing machine. Don't get me wrong, I love the lake just to rough for anybody with smaller boats.
