I think it was just liner issues, not sure what years though.. I believe the liner and hull bond failed.. XT should be able to answer this better than anyone..

My one and only Baja I have ridden in, Drove, and now own is a hammer w/7.4 mag motor. Hell of a boat I drive a 08 Trailblazer SS, so its like one of those but for the water! I cant wait to see what my next one will be I definitely like the outlaws.

The second 40 I ever drove was last years photoboat on the website and magazines.

The 3rd and last 40 was Split Decision. I got the most seat time on this one, and there was no comparison between this and the first 2.

What ever happened to Split Decision? I was told a while back she was scrapped after the trailer accident, but find no other info.

Actually looking for that hatch cover off of it. Have a great use if can find it..

P.S. Your PM box is full...

Spotlight was the one that was dropped, last I remember seeing, a dealer in Quebec had it and had removed the powertrain and was selling it, they were the dealer that also had poker face and lucky 7s for sale at one time

I noticed that no one has ridden in a 405 so if anyone is near Orange Beach or Pensacola then give me a call, I can always use the gas money. To your question, This is my second 405 and it amazes me when someone says something bad about them that it sticks and gets worse with time. Of the 2 that I have I have never had a liner issue but I can not promise I won't, I love the boat so much I really don't care. There are no stress cracks, no furniture coming apart or anything that would lead me to believe that it would not last another 10 years. I will say that the build quality is not as good as some others (400SS) but I have a blast with mine and everyone thinks it's one of the best looking boats around (their words not mine).

Don't forget to let me know if you want to go for a ride......Bring cash.

Oh right, Baja's I have been in.
