The first 40 Outlaw I ever drove was Spotlight with the 850s in St Petersburg. I had to put it on a trailer at a crappy ramp. I swear the boat felt 60' long when I got near that trailer!
The second 40 I ever drove was last years photoboat on the website and magazines. The 3rd and last 40 was Split Decision. I got the most seat time on this one, and there was no comparison between this and the first 2. |

Split is a (5) 302 - (4) H2x - (4/5) 340 Sportfish - (3/4) 342 - (4) 442 - (3/4) 20 O/L - (5) everyone should have one to play with. 275 - (4/5) 292 Islander - (4) singles listed a little. 250 Sportfish - (4) 242 Islander - (3/4) 202 Islander - (4) 30 O/L - (4) If small blocks, like Adam's Scorpion 377s - (5) 245 - (4) 23 O/L - (5) fun, fun, fun. 26 O/L - (5) 35 O/L - (6) My personal favorite Baja model. 405 - (3) great running hull, but you know? 277 Islander - (4) 335 - (4) 278 - (4/5) Never got to run the 08' Hammer X, but I did not care for the boat. Hey, I dont see the 23 T.E. Sportfish on that list and it was WAY different than the 250 Sportfish! :D
I guess I should get busy on a list now. For some reason my mind went blank earlier talking about the 40s! |
