Baja stock stereo question
On my 2005 23OL I think if memory is right 10" sub under bench. A set of 6.5" components in front of the bolsters and this is where I can't remember are the 6.5" behind the bolsters just a 2way without the seperate tweater. Also I don't think there are components in the cabin in the corners, just 2-ways. I want to buy the speakers over winter, but don't want to buy the wrong stuff. Any info would be great.

I have done alot of work with stereo equipment on Boats. Certainly it all depends if you want some quality sound or just loud. I am a huge fan of the JL Audio Marine equipment. Great quality with power. Not cheap but the best. If you are interested look at it online and email me I get very good pricing on it. I could add to my next order. Look at their new Subs as well.

I'm trying to figure out what I need. I can't remember if the speakers in front of the bench behind the bolsters are coponents or co-axials. I get JL and other brands at cost. My buddy owns a stereo shop. I just want to make sure I order the right stuff.

Todd,
From the photos that I have, it looks like 6.5 two way speakers behind the bolsters. (in rib pads) The speakers in the fiberglass (forward of bolsters) were the speakers that could be upgraded w/seporate tweeters. If I was you - I would put co-ax everywhere that you do not have the satelite tweeters? XT:cool: |
I don't know what sizes, but JL is the best out there for Marine stuff. I spent 2 times as much as my buddy & his stereo sounds 2 times better than mine. His is all JL.
Mine is no slouch, but damn, JL sounds so good. |
Thanks Dave L. I figured you'd be the man to answer the question. I most likely will put all JL in since I can get them so cheap.
