Need Picture Hood Scope 33 Outlaw
 

Hello Group

I am forced to put hood scopes on my 33 Outlaw. So I wanted to see if anyone has done one and got any pictures to get ideas. Thanks for helping out

In 2 other threads your trying to sell it and this one your doing more to it? Confused...Why would you put more money into a boat that you'll be lucky to get 60k for in this economy?

Where in LA are you? Where do you run the boat? Haven't seen a 33 OL around.

I would like to see a picture of a boat with a hood.

All that I have owned were equiped with an Engine HATCH.

I don't have any pictures to share but i will say that you need to do a search and get a MARINE scoop that is built stronger than an automotive and designed to be stepped on with out breaking.

You will need a good fiberglass man and a good upholstery man to make it all come together and look factory.

I would suggest that you contact a fiberglass shop in the area and start there and see if they have any experience.

There was the 36 w 900s floating around in the past that had scoops. Not sure what happened to it.

Thats not the one I was thinking of. This one was an 01 or 02 I think. Was for sale forever but havent seen it latley in OHIO maybe?

The lids that have the vinyl padding around the scoops were done by Lane Carlisle of XT-Innovations, while working for Baja! I do not know if we still have the patterns, but we can always do new ones.

Thats the one. Anybody know how it would run?

I've had several to tell me it was really tail heavy which hurt performance.

The word I got was under the right conditions it would run right at 100 MPH.

It did not fly well in the rough do to the added weight of the engines and the #6 drives.

I heard the same about the 36' Allot of weight...

does anyone know that my swim platform has any value. I just ordered a new custom made one.

Aluminum or fiberglass? If it's aluminum I'd be interested in it.

I'd have to take measurements but I'm thinking if it came of your 33 it should fit my 29.
