42 ' Baja Carpet question
 

this post concerns a 1996 42' offshore with triples. How many models were made . were all the cockpit areas the same? is the 1996, and the 1999 cockpit area the same. reason being, i am replacing the carpet in this boat, and am on a tight sheddule, i do not have the time to send in a template, and they only have a template from 1999 and on. Thank you much for you help.

The 1996 model would have to be a 420 Baja, because the 442, and 40 Outlaw models did not come out until around 1999. My carpet files do not go back that far, but you can check with Corinthian Marine Carpets [email protected] to see if they have that old of a file, or pattern? The later models will not fit.

Hi I am having the carpet replaced in my 420 as we speak. I don't really know the exact person that is doing it but I understand that it is a real time taker.
