2007 Outlaw Hull Construction Question

I have a question about the Outlaw hull construction process. Are they made with three/four (top, haul, cabin and cockpit) or two castings (top and bottom)? I am getting at this.... is our cabin interior casted from the same mold that creates the hull.... is it one piece?

I am thinking it is from another mold and it is just fastened in place. But this is only a guess.

The reason why I am asking this is because there is a crack in the starboard side cabin storage tub that is under the bench seat. I sent the picture to our dealership and they forwarded to SeaRay and was told they only cover "cosmetic" cracks for only a year. This crack is big and not "cosmetic" in my book. You can see the pink glass. After talking with our glass guy on our end he said it look like we hit something. I told him... "nothing physical". But there were two cruiser waves at LOTO that I thought broke the hull in half. I am guessing this may have been the cause and now I am worried more damage other than what is showing up is present.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

It's 3 pieced,
the hull, the liner ( engine bay, cockpit,
and cabin) and the top cap ( deck)

You're not alone with this problem,
although, most of the problems that
I've heard about were on 04'/05'
model year boats.

You probably need to scream just a little
louder at them, they know there is a potential
problem with these boats.

I have heard of 2007 35 outlaws having the same problem.

What year and model?

Thanks for the replies guys.

It is a 2007 26 Outlaw.

I dropped it off at the glass shop in Highland IL this morning. after he looked it over he was thinking it was a twisting motion that cause these cracks.... the other side has it as well, just not a bad/noticeable.

Did you go through the rest of the boat?? Check the cockpit floor all the way around the smooth edges where the floor transfers to the sides of the cockpit and around your feet. You may find some hairline cracking. That is where my brothers 23 Outlaw cracked. His did it is calm water.
After he sent the boat back to Baja, his was fine, never had a crack again.

Kyle, actually we noticed when we took delivery of it that there was two or three slight stress cracks around the port side foot rest. They made it out to be not a big deal, now those cracks.... yes they are cosmetic. Our glass guy said those cracks were probably from a "bad pull".

Our glass shop also builds cats, so I am very confident in his knowledge.

My main concern is this being part of a much bigger problem.

I will join the site so I can post the picture and get it out there so people know what I am actually talking about.

Again Kyle.... thanks for your help. :coolcowboy:

I have a friend that has a 2007 26 outlaw and it is doing the same thing. these cracks you are seeing are not cosmetic this is a major deal. dont let anyone touch your boat but searay. you will void your warranty. your guy is spot on about it twisting. You can try to patch and fix it all you want and trust me when I tell you this it will always come back. you have a five year structural warranty and that is what this is. this is a well know problem from 2004 - 2008. 23- 26- 30 -35- outlaws because of the liner:
