I had a 1999/502 25 Outlaw. Didn't care for the 4 blade on the boat at all. The 23 worked over I hit 69 on GPS.
Yes, you can never under-estimate a 23 Mirage Plus running on a lower "X" dim. on a Baja hull. A lower "X" can provide better leverage to pry the nose of the hull, and run on the last few feet of the running surface. You feel much less torque with a 3 blade also.
