Fair Price for a 33'

I am currently looking at a 1998 33' Outlaw SST with Twin 502's. Boat only has 150 fresh water hours and is sitting on an eagle trailer that appears very nice. Lower hours but I have a feeling it has been partied on as it is in need of appolstry work on the engine hatch, OK doesnt NEED it but it wouldnt hurt.

Thanks

Well XT can hook you up on the engine hatch recover, but in this market I'd have to say it isn't worth a whole lot compared to 2yrs ago...I don't have a solid #, but NADA is pretty close to current market pricing..All depends on how much you want to pay for it.

I'd seriously look at having a survey done to check for rot in stringers and transom on a 11yr old boat. Save yourself ALOT of headaches for 300.00

I just spoke with the broker and he said they had the engine hatch redone.

The boat was purchased new in 2002 but do plan on having a survey done.

Anyone from Havasu here?

I went to NADA and came up with this: http://www.nadaguides.com/default.as...B&gc=MR&gtc=MR ... average retail is $45,??? and low retail is $39,??? so with the way the economy wouldnt $38,000 be reasonable? I know it seems low when compaired to other boats for sale but ??? thats NADA. I suppose that doesnt include a trailer though.

I spoke with my bank and they said that they will only give out about half of what NADA is sometimes less than that

Anyone know the owner of a 33' Outlaw in Havasu, boat is named "Good N Plenty"

33 Outlaws are selling in the 55-80K range, depending on a range of factors, HP, condition, trailer, options, hours, colors, area of the country. The 33 OL and 25 OL seem to be holding their value better than other models, ( I won't comment why) You can always offer less, but don't be surprised if they hang up on you.:evilb::party-smiley-004:

I've never seen a 33 OL at Havasu. Does the guy live in town? Who is the broker? I may be able to look at it for you or have someone go look at it.

I know a guy that just paid $50k for a 1998 with 454 Mags on a trailer. If you can get it for $38k I'd consider that a very good deal.
