Baja Apparel

Does anyone know if there is any place that has left over stock of the old baja apparel line? I'm mainly looking for hats and visors. Ever since fountain bought them out the apparel line SUCKS! Any infor would be greatly appreciated.

Check e-bay. they have some listings for baja gear. I bought a couple of shirts and a hat there a few weeks ago. Go to e-bay motors and search for Baja.

I tried to buy out the remaining inventory from threads when the Baja deal went through. They apparently werent interested and kept marking it down till the end.

Most of the stuff you find on EBAY is low quality stuff people are making themselves.

Thanks for the input guys. It is just really frustrating cuase I just bought my baja and they used to have such a diverse line of apparel and now its basically nothing.

you will probably see it come back if sales go up. even for my company, i didnt get shirts made yet budget is so tight you have to drop some things that are not making money. cut some of the non needed things out for now. it sucks, but gatta do what you gatta do

I hate to ask but did you check out the new site, I am very happy with my baja/ fountain stuff, I bought a lot in the end from baja including watches his/hers, and have bought from the new site the stuff is good and on sale NOW!!!, but it looks like a sutphen might be my next ride soon:eek:. The guys I hang with are all 32ft and above and I want to stay single power and have found 3 hulls cheap used or new sutphen or joker28 more money.I might keep old airtime in storage or sell it with a 420hp that would come with one of the sutphens, but anyway things change and I still might but that 1100hp motor in her to do the kilos. I think the 24ol was a fine hull made by baja. so go check out them clothes and just color in the fountain ring like I did:evilb:

I've got 3 like new baja button down shirts. One light blue short sleeve and a red and purple long sleeve. They say large but are closer to XL. I'll take $35 for all of them. They have the baja logo embroidered on the breast.

:lolhit::lolhit::lolhit: it was a joke, and like I said some of new stuff looks good with the sun logo on the tees , I guess you MISSED THE BOAT,:boat:[another joke] what you could do for cheap money now a days is have a custom tape made with the old logo and even a tape with your boat on it now that most of embroiders use computers to make there designs. instead of paying 250 to 500 dollars to have a design made back in the 80s or 90s. last time I talked to a shop it was 50 to 75 dollars and you keep the disk or cd,they use to call it a tape now a disk cd. so you could run off 5 hats 5 polos jackets and they can stretch it out so you can do a big picture LOGO on the back of a jacket and have the small one on the front. thats what I plan on as soon as I come up with a new paint design for the boat and waiting to hear from a sponsor about next years racing season. so thats a idea DOC did something like this with screen printing tees and had some GREAT HATS MADE.

Thanks Airtime....I knew it was a joke and thought it was funny.....I will probably go have some custom apparel made. It seems like the best way to do it plus you get exactly what you want.....thanks again :drink:

Another option is top go to your local sewing machine store. The "Brother" brand embroidery machines work very well.

I also purchased the software package, you can scan in a item, logo, image etc, and the softwarwe will recreate it into the sewing program. This is not as easy as it sounds, but once you learn the program it gets much easier...

We have made numerous things to match our boat, poker run shirts, lawn chairs etc...

As long as they are for personal use and you don't sell them, the "Logo" police seem to not bother you.

The cool thing is, we have made numerous shirts and give them away as gifts when people join us, kind of that thanks for being a crew member... (we also added to the logo our boat name)

We went to Walmart bought CHEEP clearance shirts and threw the logo on them... People think they cost $$$$ when infact $8 is about all we have spent total, sometimes even less...

It does not take long to break even on the machine, if you consider it is $25-$50 for every shirt you buy from "The big guys"

A couple of months ago I got lucky off ebay and got 20 white t-shirts with the baja logo on front and back for $60. The way I looked at it $3 a piece where can you find just a regular t-shirt for that.

Are they the stretchy kind or cotton. I've been looking for the stretchy king they sold and can't find any.

I just looked on ebay and found a number of listings. They Start around $300 and go up from there. The model I have (Innova 1000 is about $1000.) And the software is another $100.

We also use it for work shirts (our company logo) SO like I stated earlier, it does not take long to break even. Just be carefull, it becomes addictive like everything else fun!
