The pair of stabilizers vs. even a cheap/single hydraulic steering system speaks to me and says "cut corners to go fast". You can't do that and be safe in a boat.

Not quite, it would depend how much higher that blower is. On this exact boat with an N/A motor, the backseat height is higher than the flame arrestor because of how low the motor is. So you can move the back bench, back and over top of the motor and thus have more cabin room. I doubt you could do it on a blower motor tho. I think I would have notched out the backrest for the blower pully rather than moving the entire back seat forward.

In the long run I think you'll be glad you passed. Getting on your hands and knees to get in the cabin is a ***** on these boats. I would try to find a nice 25 Outlaw, big difference in cockpit and cabin room. Much better imo.

What is the price on this boat? I keep seeing good price for the boat but do not see the price.

Well it a good thing you passed on it. I couldn't and bought it. Really nice boat but I got it home and after putting a little over and hour on it found water in the oil. Tore engine down and the block is cracked around the water passage and down into the lifter galley. Still trying to see if Randy will stand behind it since a new bowtie block is over 2K. plus machine work and swapping what is good over and replacing the bad. I know what you mean about chine jump. scared the crap out of me. External steering this winter after motor gets fixed.

That sucks. Hope it works out for you with the engine.

That sucks, hope they help you out with it. Keep us updated. I'd like to see how they handle this situation for future reference if I deal with them.

I'll keep you posted. Just waiting to hear from them.
