Outlaw Swim Platform Questions....
The grip tape on my swim platform is coming off.
(sticks out of the boat house = hammered by the sun year round)
Who built the swimplatforms for Baja?
Hoping I can buy a kit from them to replace the tape I have now.
Anyone know the brand of grip tape it is? or what the best is to replace with?
any ideas would be mucho appreciated......

When I bought my swim ladder from www.windline.com they also sold the rubber inserts for the swim platform. I think they were in the range of 100 bucks for a set. Check it out. They claim to be factory issue for the Baja line. My ladder fit great so I can't doubt them.

I got tired of the tape looking like crap, and curling up on the edges over time, so I put non-skid paint on there. Works like a charm, no peeling, no cracking, and much cheaper than the tape.

Mike when I had the swim platform powercoated last year I picked up the 3M tape from either WW Grainger or McMaster Carr. I know they both have it. Be careful I ordered the wrong stuff first and it was like sand paper.
It is VERY easy to cut and apply and it holds up well for a few years. If I remember right it was about $20.00 per roll and I think it takes just over one roll or at least it did on mine.
Good luck

I just ordered some tread tape for my platform and I ordered from Koffler sales (Kofflersales.com - 888-355-6287) they have so many different types. Call them and they will sent out samples of the different tapes. Super nice people and real cheap prices.
