Thank you for clearing that up for me.... that last thing I want to do is pass along bad information on to others.

Just so I understand....with the 2006 and prior line (23/30/ext) OLs, where they of different construction than the 25 OLs?

Liner Constructed Hulls:

20 Outlaw
23 Outlaw
30 Outlaw
35 Outlaw
Hammer "X"
245
247
277
278
335
405

Stringer Constructed Hulls:

192
202
212
Hamer
232
242
H2X
252
272
275
25 Outlaw
29 Outlaw
302
33 Outlaw
342
36 Outlaw
38 Special
40 Outlaw
420

While I know this is not a 100% complete list it cover 95%. I am not sure about the newer 275 that replaced the 272 whether or not it was a liner construction.

I would buy a 25 Outlaw in a heartbeat. GREAT BOATS!

You are welcome

I updated the list because I forgot a few including the 35 Outlaw. I received a PM from a fellow in the know that helped with a few models I was unsure about as well.

Remember that I am referring on to the original Baja lineup from Bucyrus andnot what Fountain is currently building. I am not familiar with their product listing or their construction process.

Met a guy at the lake this weekend with a 35. It was replaced by Baja last fall after the original 08 had cracks from the gunwale down to the footrests. It was fixed four times before they replaced the boat. That doesn't make a guy that has the same model a good felling.

I personally know of five 30 Outlaws replaced and three 35's. The factory looked like a grave yard from what I was told a year and a half ago with all the bad hulls especially all the 405's.

Some of the first to fail were LOTO boats.

Good boat. Good motor. comfortable seating and predictable handling.
I agree with you - thought the 25 always had great lines. I was never a fan of the 24, but instantly liked the 25 from the first sight. I have a 26, which is nearly identical....

Are a speed freak? It's not as fast as other hulls in that size range. (velocity, donzi, fountain).
