90MPH 40'Outlaw

Does anyone know of any 40 outlaw with twins running 90 MPH+, if so what power do they have?

Dock Holiday 08-06-2009 09:07 AM

Split Decision ran 91 MPH on the GPS with 7 people including myself on board.

700's with NXT drives

+1

I remember seeing a 40 with 900SC's,
that I hope would run over 90

Spotlight w/850's was rumored to, but,
the day I rode in it, it only ran 85

I think there might have been a couple
of triple engine boats with big power that
ran over 90 ( High Tide's boat and Thunderflash 1)

jeff1000man 08-06-2009 10:19 AM

Eddies boat has triple 500's and I don't think it breaks 80 very easily. I bet 800HP on a twin would get there though.

Why, are you trying to build one for a customer or is there a new "Wet Spot II" in your future? :eureka:

Spotlight never saw over 87. It sound pretty mean though at the dock!

40 outlaw 90 speed

I don't know, if even with twin 900's for a 40' to hit over 90. You need a little more power i think. Only my 2 Cent.

I bet if I were to put my hands on that boat I'd get over 90 out of it. Eddie's boat is still on my radar, but I need to unload mine 1st.

Has he sold it? I am not sure I have sen it out of the storage building this year yet?

You should buy the one that Boatman22 has on consignment right now. less than 40 hours on a 2005 that has twin 575's.

Switch the engine out of your current boat and party hard.

Eddie still has it listed & I know nothing of the 40 with 575's other than it probably breaks drives like a mutha-f*cka!

It has ITS and XR's. Looked pretty solid on Saturday.

Eddie's boat already sold. I saw him and Tonya at their restaurant Friday night.

I also rode on the 40 that Tom is talking about with the 575's. That boat runs nice and smooth and the motors sound gooooood!

Right next to Willowbrook mall at 1960/249. They bought the old Sam's Boat and made it into The Inferno Grill.
