how fast is baja 405 2006 with 315 yanmar diesels
 

hi guys ,
does anybody know how fast a baja 405 with standar315 twin yanmar diesels.

Did they build one?

yes dock there is one down at florida and you know diesel engines last forever the boat seemed to be in good shape so thats why i was wondering if any body had any idea about how fast it runs and if it is a nice ride

I remember #002 had diesels. It was quite a bit slower than the ones with 496 Mag HOs. If I remember correctly, it only ran about 48 mph.

Thats a cool boat. Now add some bigger yanmars or cummins and some ASD's and we got a winner.

Just talked to my partner who drove the boat while I was video taping from the shoreline. Some where between 4200-4400 RPM - He was busy looking for Speed traps ;). We'll be out with the boat on Saturday if someone needs more info we can photo document that then.

Anyone in here have a pictures of how the camper canvas looks on a 405? Talked to BAJA support and they didn't have a clue. Called the canvas factory in TN who has the parts in stock but do not have any pictures of it? Anyone?
