Baja Dash Dilema??
Hey Guys!
I have a 95 Outlaw SST with "basic" Gaffrig gauges, that are starting to get "cloudy", I would like to upgrade to either the newer Auto Meter Marine or Livorsi's [I really like the carbon fiber look] my existing dash panel is the carbon fiber "look" as well. Anyway, my smaller gauges are 2" dia. the tach is the regular 3 3/8, but, the tach is closer to 4" with about a 3 3/4cut out, which limits the gauges that fit in that size hole Does anyone make a "blank" panel insert that I could cut to accept two 3 3/8 gauges as well as the 2" ones? anyone have any ideas how to modify the existing dash to accept two 3 3/8 gauges? Any imput appreciated! Thanks! Michael |

Here is what I did with my 95 Dash. I bought a sheet of aluminum, used the old one as a template and traced it and cut out a new panel. Then I put the guages where I wanted. I painted mine but with stuff today you could powdercoat of put a layer of whatever over it.
